Again, those scary eyes!
Oh another interesting story happened this week...went shopping again...as usual...the account as follow...

My beloved chucks are ruined, the sole is falling off and the rubbery sides are ripped. So, I went chucks hunting today with Mitch, Dionne and Leh Bin at Sungei Wang Plaza. To those who are not familiar with the term “chucks”, it is an American slang for what we call sneakers or Converse shoes, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be Converse to be call chucks though. And because my old chucks are falling apart, I’m there searching for a new pair within the budget of RM100.
But before the great hunt started, we had lunch first at Madam Wong Café as Dionne and I were starving. I had the Korean Spicy Noodle which took a long time for them to serve (I guess they have to fly it in from Korea) and it wasn’t spicy at all! I was expecting a bright red broth and noodles but what I got was a watery orange color soup that taste exactly like curry flavored Maggi mee! However, I was too hungry to complain and just washed it down with a glassful of Coke.
After that, the hunt was postponed again as we took a detour to Low Yat Plaza because Dionne wanted to get an iPod Nano, while Leh Bin wanted to search for a laptop. We spent quite some time and energy there as we went around searching for the lowest price possible for Dionne’s iPod. The place was so crowded that we nearly missed the shop on the third floor that finally offered us the lowest price of RM750. A trip to the ATM (which is conveniently situated on the ground floor) ensued. The hunt finally began after we went back to Sungei Wang Plaza.
We searched high and low for my new chucks from the top floor down to the ground floor with no avail. None of the chucks looked nice to me, they are either too tacky or came with horrendous color! We were about to give up (the girls were threatening to kick my bottom if I were to keep on rejecting the chucks we saw) when we came to this shop called Labelsz, instantly I was attracted to the wooly chucks on display, the color was perfect and the price was even more appealing. It was only RM29 and their size 10 fit snugly on my feet, I bought it right away.
The hunt didn’t end here though, and I got to see two real life shopaholics (Mitch and Leh Bin) in action. Leh Bin bought a total of four tops today and Mitch bought an assortment of trinkets and gloves. We also ate a lot today, from dessert to takos and Nandos. It was a fun day and I finally got that chucks that I’d been looking for so badly! All in all, it’s not a bad shopping adventure after all.

I'll post something soon!
