SS2 Murni

Some times back, I was lucky enough to finally dine at the infamous SS2 Murni with Akil, Steph, Manpreet, Dionne and Andrew. The first time I heard of this eating place was during a BRATs gathering from Yun-Ni (who is now studying somewhere in the New South Wales...)...and then from Stephanie when I came to college...my initial impression was a huge food junction with many stalls selling different food, like a foodcourt in a mall. But SS2 Murni was actually a mamak store! And mind you the food is superb!!!

Since it was my first time, I don't really know what to order, so we consulted Steph who had been to SS2 Murni before. She recommended to us the special Roti Hawaii. Which was delicious...it's like roti canai but the inside is filled with chicken cubes, egg, sausage and many other yummy stuffing...
Other than that they also have great drinks...their special fruit juices and smoothies. I ordered the Mango Special that Yun-Ni told me about. It was nice, ice blended and served with chunks of watermelon and mata kucing...yum yum...Akil took the Pink Panther which was a concoction of banana and strawberry smoothie...it look abit like blended brain though...and I dared him to finish it or I'll pour the remaining smoothie on his head...lol...he never finish it (nearly vomited in the car) and I let him go, for now...wakaka...

Anyway, that's all for this food review...go and try for yourself!! Happy Christmas everyone!!

Open Day / Career Talk...

These past few days had been some fun and tiring days...for I had been working with a bunch of friends as Student Ambassadors for the Taylor's College Open Day in main campus. Basically my job was to monitor the inquiry counter outside the exhibition hall and to give out goodies and freebies to the visitors...I'm glad I got the chance to be part of the team, met some great people, ate some good food and best of all, I was in action as a Taylorian...lol...anyway, I don't feel like posting much about it, so here's quite a bit of pictures to tell the story for me...

Courses exhibition in the Multi-purpose Hall (MPH)...not the bookstore...just so you know...hahaha...

Another snapshot of the crowd...it was so packed that another room had to be used for counseling...

The Cafeteria where we had our lunch 3 days in a row...some day the food was great...but other day...you get what I mean...

It's lunch hour people!

Main building of Taylor's University College Main Campus...no lifts...nearly died of exhaustion because of taking the stairs...hahaha...

Other than exhibition...there were also talks on various courses...

Vico was there too...which mean free drinks for everyone!

The Celcom and Nestle canopy...

Manpreet and Leh Bin in action...overseeing the crowds in Lecture Theatre 3...

Look at the crowd at the Inquiry Counter!

Akil...hogging the limelight as always...Steph was on the floor...packing goodie bags...kesian....lol...

Our storeroom...where everything and anything were kept...

Taylor's stuffs...

View from the top floor...feel so bad for the usherers working under the hot sun...at least they can huddle under the big yellow umbrella...

Florence and Jeng Zhu (I'm 100% I misspelled her name...sorry...hehehe...) manning the other Inquiry Counter...posers!!

We are the Student Ambassadors:(1st row) Me, Christine and Steph...(2nd row) Akil and Toddy...
In another story...today we got the oppurtunity to meet Ahmad Izham who is the CEO of 8TV...he was one of the speakers during today's Career Talk organized by 8TV and Hotlink...very nice guy!

Akil, Steph, Miss Josephine (Program Director of SOC), Ahmad Izham, Me and Dionne...
Anyway, that's all for now...I'm looking forward to meeting up with Paulene this Saturday! I'm going shopping crazy this weekend...but I'm low on cash...how? Sigh...anyway...enjoy the rest of the day guys!
P/S: I'll do the tag soon Esther...thanks!

Nitwit Vandals

I'm taking a quikie break from doing my Malaysian Media History about the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984...I'm dying of boredom. Anyway, I got something interesting to share. I found these scribblings under my desk in English class this morning.

A closer look at the the words scribbled on the drawer reavealed some rather idiotic coomments...

Look who's talking right? Talking about vandalism and still whoever this is still scribbled on the desk, which he shouldn't have if he's preaching about anti-vandalism, no? I got one word for this guy: STUPID.
That's all...time's up...gotta get on with my assignment...which by the way is due tomorrow...lalalala...
